Is there any snake that lays eggs on tree?....
There many types of snake species some of them are Oviparous
or Ovoviviparous or Viviparous meaning
> Oviparous = They lay eggs.
> Viviparous = don’t utilize
an egg during any stage of reproduction.
Let’s talk about Oviparous [ which lay eggs ], 70% of snake species are Oviparous, examples of Oviparous snake
arec adders, cobras, rat snakes and grass snakes.
Among all these snakes
there is no such snakes that lay eggs on tree, adder snakes incubate the eggs
inside themselves, cobras pushes
leaves and branches into a nest pile where the eggs are incubated by the elevated temperatures of decomposition
,rat snakes usually lay the eggs at a
pile of compost like thing and finally the grass snakes lay the eggs at rotten
vegetation or at something like compost like thing and incubate them until they hatch in early Autumn.
So there is no case that an
Oviparous snake lay eggs on trees, most of the
snake lay there eggs on compost like thing , but there might be some special
conditions which might make a snake to lay it’s on trees , such situation can naturally occur in the wild ,
If you have
spotted any eggs like that be away from it because the mother snake might be protecting
its nest.
